72 Degrees Is About Perfect For Raking Leaves

Have 4 bags takes up so far Will probably stop soon so my back and shoulders don’t get messed up. Too bad the rest of the week isn’t going to be nice like today.

Leaves nake great compost. Also leave a few for the insects to live in as the birds forage in the leaves over the winter too.

@meggie She can't really let the leaves compost because copperhead snakes will burrow under the leaves. They are very poisonous .

@4meAndyou all kinds of snakes, the ones I saw while raking about 10 years ago were grass snakes but I have seen a small rattlesnake here one time. So there could be any kind of snakes in those piles.
