When you were 10, did you think you would ever concern yourself with things of a political nature? Or spend time watching the News?

I don’t remember thinking about it much. It was part of our every day life and since my parents didn’t discuss the news and were not interactive in ensuring we knew and understood what was going on in the world, I often based my opinions on what was portrayed in the news. Consequently my outlook on humanity and where the world was heading was skewed by the news and the end of times preaching in church. As I grew older and found myself battling depression I decided to avoid the news due to its focus upon negativity. I hear it anyway from people mentioning it and if I feel it is important then I do research to find the real story.
