Fox with mange. Poor guy. I firmly believe most big foot sightings are bears with mange.

@Nitedoc i first thought coyote, but many on SW and inaturalist seem to disagree b
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
@samueltyler2 well, whatever. It isn't important.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Nitedoc it found a friend to day. After a huge downpour two fox appeared. I have a ton of images to decide on posting, and videos. I called the club today to warn them.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
the people on inaturalist.org seem to believe that it is a red fox with mange. I know another golf course that has a fox den, i just never saw one this mangy.
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
@samueltyler2 I have. It was mangy even a coyote.
Ynotisay · M
@samueltyler2 I could be wrong but I believe that red foxes, which I think that is, molt and lose most of fur in the hot months.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Ynotisay yup, that is what I learned. I am now less worried about that one b

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout And not a sausage McMuffin?

I don't think that fox or coyote has the strength left to attack, even out of the desperation of hunger...and survival. Unless it has contracted rabies, of course, and then not even caring wildlife rescue folks could help his or her survival chances.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Piper there was a report of an attack not very far from here, of a family walking their dog.

He doesn’t look well 😔
ArishMell · 70-79, M
Poor thing! He certainly doesn't look in the best of health.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
More back today after the downpouring rain. I will post images later.

This coyote is gravely ill and must be destroyed.
Looks like an emaciated coyote
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
Dingo?
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@MrBrownstone this is in USA, most likely a coyote.
Poppies · 61-69, F
@samueltyler2 It looks like a fox to me. The tail in particular does not look like it belongs to a coyote.

@allygator18 actually it dug a little indentation in one bunker and laid down in it.
