Have you ever had an egg with 2 egg yolks?

I just got the first of my life.
RedFlower · F
A double yolk occurs when a hen's body releases more than one egg during her daily ovulation cycle. And, just like humans, it's possible for two — or more — eggs to make their way from the ovary and through the reproductive tract. The overall odds of a hen laying a double yolk are one in 1,000.

Yes, a couple of times (no pun intended)!
Snuffy1957 · 61-69, M
Yes quite a few times

I have a few times and a few times I got a shelled peanut that had 3 peanuts in it - sometimes I think I must have a lucky horse shoe up my butt. Cheers and happy weekend!

Every once in a while. If you do a lot of cooking with eggs, you're likely to see come across a few like that.
Recently had a dozen and every one was double yolked.🤷‍♂️

@UnderLockDown Do they trade in only doubles?
@TheOrionbeltseeker Just lucky, it was during the egg shortage.

A lot. It was common on the farm as hens came to the end of their egg-laying era

Yeah, I always have this long ⏸️ before I whisk them asses together...
