A rare albino stag

Wonderful! When I was a teenager, my father and I saw an albino white-tailed deer cross the road early one morning on Jekyll Island, GA. It was a foggy morning, and it looked like a ghost. It had impressive antlers, also.

Now that is stunning. May it live long in it's freedom.
Wow!! I well remember the time I spotted a pure white squirrel. I always lived in areas with squirrels everywhere and until then had no idea that white squirrels even existed.

@available4 Yes, it's the largest herd in the world of white-tailed deer with a white, leucistic coat. These deer aren't albino though, but instead have leucism, which is an abnormal genetic condition that carries a set of recessive genes for all-white coats. Albinism is a very rare genetic condition causing a complete lack of melanin, resulting in a pure white coat, pink eyes, a pink nose, and pink hooves. So one is a breed and the other a mistake, I guess one could describe it.
