@cherokeepatti I was married to the 2nd ex back then. We bought a house in Brockton, and we had a new baby. We were so strapped for cash that I used to actually BUY those soy granules at Roxies to mix with my hamburger and stretch it.

@4meAndyou I can tolerate tofu but mixing meat with soy just has an off taste. Beans or lentils or other vegetarian options would taste better than that.

@4meAndyou oh I didn’t eat tofu back then but I’d eat it now rather than eat soy-mixed meat. It’s like one or the other, not both mixed together.
