How old do you guesstimate it is?
I saw one last night that may have been foaled in the field they were grazing in.

Oh no. Where's mama? I hope she didn't get poached or hit by a car?
HiYou12 · 51-55, M
@Jayciedubb there was another baby around the corner in the front bushes. No dead deer along the road, only way to my area is a one mile road, only way in
Jayciedubb · 56-60, M
@HiYou12 I'm no expert, but isn't it strange for a deer to leave her offspring unattended for that long? I think any predator would have taken the fawn before the adult, unless it was a human predator. I dont mean to be all doom n gloom here. Sorry if i wrecked the spirit of the post. I really do hope it all ends well
HiYou12 · 51-55, M
@Jayciedubb only predators here in the cars. 100% all residential and back up to a park preserve which butts up to a large river. Just chilling and probably weening them to fend for themselves

Where’s its mama?
