I'm finding myself increasingly attracted to gem stones. Why is that?

Not in a "new age" way. lol Like I don't believe they have powers or anything, they just look beautiful.
I liked them when I was a kid.

I don't think I would ever wear them, like some kind of pimp.

Do you like them?

I do like seeing a beautifully-cut emerald or ruby, mounted or not. I don't appreciate seeing men wearing bling, though. I feel conspicuous, myself, wearing abundant adornments clasping or dangling, but laid out on my dresser they look great. I used to overdo silver-mounted turquoise. What looked right at home in the Southwest didn't so much in Pennsylvania. Too "dowager" for me now that I'm kicking and screaming to avoid being one.
