If I were a Canadian or a resident of Wisconsin this would be me every morning!

That is way too old fashioned. We Canadians use machinery!

@hippyjoe1955 Who knew you guys had tech! LOL

@WillaKissing I used to walk down that road when I was a kid. Obviously it would be impassible for a car or a truck but the snow was hard enough that we could walk on top of it.

@hippyjoe1955 That's looks a lot like Wisconsin, Michigan and Minnesota to me
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@HumanEarth OK. It is East Central Alberta.

@hippyjoe1955 We get snow like that to, you just get it more often
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@HumanEarth We likely get it over a longer period of time. I have seen it snow in every month of the year. But big snow in September through May is not at all unusual.

That's almost the same for us, big snow ends in March, but did have have a major snow storm in April a few years ago of like 16 inches. So its rare to snow in April here and that much. It had happened
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@HumanEarth I remember one storm in May that took out all the power and telephone services for over a week. It was pretty wild. Huge dump of slushy snow.
HumanEarth · F
Had many of them before
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@HumanEarth Most of the snow we get here is dry and rarely takes out power or telephone service. The wind usually packs it so tight you can walk on it and not even leave a mark in the snow. As a kid I would try to dig a hole in the snow and I would give up. The snow was just too hard to dig.

That's most of our snow to unless your in the southern parts of the states
