In 1978 I was living between Milwaukee and Chicago. Cars where buried on the street. You couldn't even see were they were they were at.

@HumanEarth I remember that, as well as several weeks or months later when the snow was removed how many folks, they found sitting frozen to death in their cars. in the middle of the road or at the roadside.

@bookerdana @HumanEarth @WillaKissing Both of my parents family's are from upstate New York. My Aunt sent us a picture back then. She was standing on a snow bank next to a telephone pole. The top of the pole only came up to her knee.
