ALL injured parts of the body will swell up when a low pressure area moves in. I have tendonitis in BOTH wrists, and they get very swollen and painful in the morning when I first wake up. After using my hands all day long, the pain gradually becomes less severe.
But arthritis is no joke, either. I am really sorry if you are in pain.
