Saying that.. as an Australian.. is it entirely necessary to dress like a commando in cammo paint… to hunt dear? Just seems like a little fantasy role play and good hunting at the same time… 🤔

It's not necessary. In my commando phase I had a cargo vest and all, but no weapons. My fascination with surplus army gear started with feeling safe in the stuff for a tiny number of dollars, also making life safer. It didn't occur to me that others would see a warrior until one day in 1979 I forgot to take the German emblems off an old jacket - in Paris. Ooooh boy. After that I added tons of rainbows and butterflies to each military looking thing.
