It's like meeting with a higher power. I'm going to fast for three days, take the necessities, drive two hours to the the land where my ancestors once lived, climb the highest hill, and when I'm at the top...I will sit for however long it will take me until I find what I'm looking for.
@WolfGirlwh0r3 Thank you. I haven't done anything like this in a few years, I don't even remember if anything came of it last time. Even so, for whatever reason I'm feeling called to it again...but doing things more traditionally the way my ancestors would've done. To clarify, I'm white and Lakota. This trip is extremely important because it's consisting of performing three rites.
