Honestly in my head these things are cow sized so these visuals are quite disturbing 😫
@SW-User They are true though. Did you know a group of moose is called a herd. The plural form of moose is “moose”. Not mooses. lol Moose live in northern Europe, Asia, and in North America. According to zoologists, moose is the tallest living species of deer. According to National Geographic, it is 5 to 6.5 feet tall at the shoulders.

Wow they are big!! And beautiful!
I remember the joke about a Scotsman who went to Canada and a local man said to him that is the north American moose! The Scotsman looked shocked and said, wow, you must have a big rat!!!
( Mouse in Scotland is pronounced mooose)

That must have been a moose species that survived the Cretaceous asteroid collision.

@Thinkerbell The Alaskan Moose is generally a taller breed.

Taller than even horse? What would be their average height?

Ohhh my I thought Australia was bad for animals but I think somehow ours seem tame compare to that Moose all I can say is a double wow wow ..
oddly, part of what makes them so dangerous is their typically terrible eyesight (or at least from what I've heard)

One of the things I loved most about my year in Finland
Encountered one amongst the pines and the snow on a walk once. It literally took my breath away. Elk.
