People shouldn't underestimate the size of a moose. I saw one exactly like this in Alaska just a few feet from my car. They are HUGE!!
Until I went to Alaska and lived there, I had no idea that a moose could be this large. I actually thought it was more like the size of a horse, but boy when you're face to face with them, oh my goodness, they are overwhelmingly HUGE! I couldn't believe how long their legs were and the moose I saw, had a baby with it. Needless to say we backed away real quick. 😂 It's antlers were humongous as well.

Wow they are big!! And beautiful! I remember the joke about a Scotsman who went to Canada and a local man said to him that is the north American moose! The Scotsman looked shocked and said, wow, you must have a big rat!!! ( Mouse in Scotland is pronounced mooose)
