I used to do it more often, but my dog is not a good hiking companion. She's the kind that likes to stop and smell the roses, and my other dog is like a locomotive going full steam ahead. So when we go out for a walk, we're spread out all over the place. It gets much worse on a hike because there are tons of new smells for her to take in. I'm constantly having to turn my head to make sure I don't lose her
