When you were in school, did you ever bring home a tiny tree and plant it in the yard?

I remember doing that. It's been so long that I have no idea if it still survives, and I no longer live on that property. How'd yours come out?

I planted an acorn in the garden from one of the trees and it grew to a out about a foot high but my mother pulled it up coz (obviously but not to me at the time😆😆) there wasn't room for another oak tree in the lawn ☺️
