Nineteen thousand children have been orphaned in Gaza.

The world looks on.

Please focus on positive suggestions as to how to move forward.

I’ve suggested a few in the main body of the post from a British perspective

Pray for peace and reconciliation in the Palestine.

Lobby the British government to make a more neutral stance.

Support David Cameron in his attempt to get humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. And his attempt to recognise Palestine as a State.

Support aid agencies financially. Including Christian aid and the UN.

You only care because it’s televised.

Nobody gives a shit about war orphans in Sudan, Burma and Yemen.

@Morvoren "Virtue Signaling" seems to be the only way some people can feel important with zero effort.
@Morvoren There are limits to whom I can pray for, I am not a priest. Burma is on my radar. As are the treatment of the Uyghur people in China. I also have several people I’ve been asked to pray for. I also pray for the Islamic and Jewish communities in the UK.

Pressurising the UK government is difficult. As they do not have a mandate.

@sunriselover Pray that they are resolute in defunding UNRWA. And, congratulations. I don't have a god that listens to my prayers so I must act upon them myself.

@sunriselover The U.K. government’s chief concern should be U.K. citizens. If Palestinians want to be a base for Hamas I don’t consider that to be any of our concern.
@Morvoren I agree. I have said that elsewhere. There are over 4 million Islamic citizens in the UK, 400 thousand Jews. Islamophobia and Antisemitism must be avoided at all costs. But that is why I advocate a balanced view. The British counter terrorist organisation has been brilliant so far. But it only takes one lone wolf. It is not our conflict, but we should give aid and seek ways of reconciliation. Which is what Lord Cameron is trying to do.

@Morvoren
If Palestinians want to be a base for Hamas I don’t consider that to be any of our concern.
Do you intend to refer to all Palestinians or only some of them (how many?) or just some specific Palestinians you know of?

People decide for themselves what to be concerned about, with or without your approval. There is no global 'us' for whom you're qualified to speak.

@Really I’m not telling anyone else what to think. I’m telling you what I think. That’s all. And you’re just going to have to be a big boy about it.
@Morvoren Read MasterLees response. He has been the most constructive to date.

@sunriselover Goof for you both. How many children will you be adopting each?

@Morvoren How come I can see your arrogant post after I blocked you?

@Morvoren The double standard against Israel is rank leftist anti-Semitism.
