I'm never bloody happy y'know that.

I'm always searching for the next obsession, always wanting more, forever chasing my own tail.

It probably comes off that I'm a selfish asshole, but really its deeply rooted in insecurity. Not that those things are mutually exclusive 😂 But crikey, it's exhausting.

Just sitting here musing of the facts. I wonder who i really am underneath all the slight of hand

Maybe one of those silent, guided type retreats would help you figure you out. Or it could break you, I guess, because what/who are we can be unsettling things to ponder?
@ineedadrink before covid i had considered a monastic convent.

@SevenTierCrazyCake Give it a whirl for a week, maybe.
@ineedadrink my only issue with this is that I'm now reading the bible & I'm not impressed... but that's quite literally a different post altogether.

The concept as a whole is a good one.

I think it's a defense mechanism, distraction, when you don't want to face up to your feelings or get in touch with who you are.
@SW-User i would agree

Chasing your tail is fun af though. Just ask every dog ever!
@KingofPizza2 I'm definitely more feline.

Take from that what you will 😅

@SevenTierCrazyCake Yeah actually knowing you that is definitely accurate.

For what it’s worth my spirit animal is either a Chihuahuan raven or some kind of shark-murdering giant squid
@KingofPizza2 mamy years ago someone told me they thought it was a chameleon.

Wait a minute! After all these years I`m just finding out you have a tail? 😲
@Degbeme ...😅

The first key to happiness: Be present.
@DunningKruger something that i find very difficult

@SevenTierCrazyCake Mastering any skill requires practice.
