A question for Non-Americans. Is the USA a joke now?

Correct me on this, inmates in the US can not vote, can they? Yet a convicted person can run for president? At one time I could understand the rationale in emotion and logic, say a woman being hung for being a witch when women were persecuted? Yet it's certain very few would have rallied behind that person. Now the US has someone of the greatest prosperity from family riches, citing how the world thwarts him, while his life was handed a golden key. But what happens when policy and actual matters are disguised with self-loathing to the point he is now defending the majority from the minority.

That's how it reads from another country. And it can win. (Those accused of witchcraft never would have)

@thewindupbirdchronicles i assume to trump u are reffering. And i dont think its fair or just but theyy will plead he is too old to know what he was doing then say im too young to run. America the disenfranchized. Also i agree that with charges pending a candidate should not be allowed to b considered or eligible for political office. This shit wouldnt fly in new york state.
Instead its all about this aholes 'fake money'
