America is the most powerful nation in human history, and is people have a lot to be proud of, but the plight of its poor and increasingly even middle class is tragic. A handful of people and corporations at the top have led them into an existence that is not as bad as slavery but also somehow far more exploitative, even while brainwashing the masses that they are all on one team.
