Honestly though just ignore the miserable sods it's your national day don't let them piss you off. I mean most people over here ain't in the slightest bit bothered it's all centuries old history now and it's easy for people to start throwing cherry picked bits of history about and start upsetting people. Like when the Queen died and people were like ''well did you know 500 years ago the British monarchy did this I'm glad she's dead....'' I mean on the day she died. Ummmm. We didn't break from Catholic British reign. England abandoned the Catholic Church over 200 years pior. They were Anglican.

Every group, nation and race has at one time or another persecuted every other group, nation and race.

To claim as if there is some sort of epidemic of racism, or to suggest that we need to encourage collectivised guilt based on race, in the 21rst century west, can only be born out of bad intentions.

And what do you do with mix race people? Is one half of them oppressing the other half? Do we do a DNA test to find out how many reparations they pay? It sounds like im joking.
