can cds sound as good as vinyl records

i no longer have any vinyl records now just about 60 cds...i saw many who think vinyl is so much superior to cds sound....any thoughts?

Maybe a CD can sound as good as 331/3 vinyl record. But a CD can never sound as good as 331/3 sized vinyl record that is meant to play at 45 RPMs. Falco did all his records that way.
