Haven’t bought one since the eighties but still got all the ones I acquired up to then.

I have a collection that includes 33s and 45s that I bought back in the 1970s and 78s inherited from my grandfather.

@RubySoo You never know..I checked mine on the Internet. There are lots of sites where you can find out how much vinyls are worth.
RubySoo · 56-60, F
@TheStranger yeah.....but i don't own anything out ofvthe ordinary. Plus...i wrote inside all the sleeves with the dates i bought them.🙄

@RubySoo most people wrote on them in some way or another.

I used to, but I no longer have a vinyl player. My last one conked out in 2004, so I started buying everything on CD instead.

I have a relatively new turntable: bunches of old vinyl classical and some other newer genres.

I am not so much a collector as I am a hangeroner! Seriously, U am 63 years old and still have my albums from my generation. And they are (vinyl) making a huge comeback. I wanted my son to have them after I'm gone.

My grandparents still have and often tell me it was the best times
I often play 70s and 80s when I visit.

I still have my old stuff, and I still buy new....LPs and singles must amount to well over 5000 I'd say

@TheStranger i did a lot of years ago use too go around second hand record shops and charity shops looking for songs i liked . i have no record player now and a box of redundant singles with nothing to play them on . since i got a computer i can listen to music on you tube and spotify but you cannot beat the the sound of a vinyl record

I bought a load from auctions but I don't think any of them have any value nice to listen to though and all sorts of weird stuff...
DailyFlash · 56-60, M
I bought my first record when I was 8. I have about 1,000 LPs but I dont buy many anymore.
darkmere1983 · 46-50, M
not again, i'll just stick with cds.
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
Not normally.
If i see something that takes my interest on a market or charity shop i might be tempted if it looks undamaged.
Its the 78's or Shellac recordings that interest me more.
