@Grateful4you Marvin Gay, Sr. was a very troubled man, a minister who sometimes dressed in women’s clothes, might’ve been closeted, was reportedly physically and emotionally abusive to his wife and children. He especially resented Marvin Jr.’s success.
The day before Marvin’s 45th birthday, his father was beating his mother, Marvin intervened, Mr. Gay got his gun and killed him. 😞
