It’s wild to think how the mid-to-late '80s were a great time for aging rock stars making comebacks

John Fogerty, Roy Orbison, The Rolling Stones, Steve Winwood, Aerosmith, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young... I wonder if it was all coincidence, them finding a resurgence in their careers around the same time, or if there was just something about that part of the decade that brought about a renewed interest in over the hill rockers?
