what would One use scorpion venom for?.. 🤔

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout A few different drugs can be made from it to help with some cases of multiple sclerosis and cancer, and to help with heart transplants, painkillers derived from a chemical in scorpion venom are very effective for certain types of pain.

@UnderLockDown makes sense why its so expensive then ey?.
not like you could have a scorpion farm and be milking this stuff by the barrell for next to nothing...
its saves lives.. mark up that price 1000%

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout It can't be terribly expensive to keep them, they eat crickets. I imagine the hard part would be finding your way into the market and paying all the government fees. I caught tons as a kid, it's not difficult to handle them, snakes are more dangerous.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout @UnderLockDown and once you go to the black market by doing inhumane farming of scorpions the price drops 1000%

@MartinTheFirst Why go black market? People keep scorpions as pets, as long as they have a large enough area, and they are clean and fed, I don't see why it's inhumane. Farming doesn't assume that they be mistreated.

@UnderLockDown Because you need to be certified to keep venomous animals, and that shit is expensive.
