@rush2112 In my experience,I've rationalized that you don't necessarily have to be a "fan" in order to actually like a creator or their creation.

My liking of things (music in this case) is generally on a casual level in that I may listen to an album or a single primarily out of curiosity, then decide for myself, wether or not it's worth listening to again.

I very rarely, if ever, attend live concerts and I don't actively seek autographs like any kind of hardcore fan would do.

And when it comes to music, whether it's by Rush, or any other band for that matter, I just listen to the music and I'll just know from within myself, whether I like it or not.

@rush2112 That makes sense in the pitches he can sing.. I just have learned in my time there are those that love Rush and those that don't. I love music and music that tells stories poetically or enigmatically, so I should love Rush but it's just one of those peculiar parts of life I have learned. You must have some artist you know is talented but a part of you just belies a bellow ache.

@awildsheepschase Don't pressure yourself into loving a band. I have a couple of singers I hate, usually singers like this (sounds extremely unemotional). Glad it's on Christian metal category or else I would treat him seriously. Apparently it's former Judas Priest singer who is bitter at Rob Halford.

@rush2112 I just love what I love and I know what I love... so no pressure there.. it's just a topic in Canada you are hitting about Rush, some love them and some conversely hate them. Which makes them quintessentially Canadian, and for me I just love the topic because I know how diverse it is in Canada, if you love Rush :)

@Eddiesolds I can, but my name is well-known across the Rush fanbase and they would know, if I wrote the same things under the different name.

@Eddiesolds I said that "Rush should be more accommodating to Polish fans, instead of saying all Poles collaborated with German Nazis, like they forget that we were in fact invaded", I wanted to contact Geddy and Alex and ask them about music, some tips or just socialize with them, I was worried about a fake account that logged into Geddy's IG page etc.
Possibly the fact I didn't approve of Rush-The Runaways feud, played a role.

@Kiesel To some of them my only fault is that I was born and I'm living in Poland. Also I read Geddy Lee's biography and Rush books. On one hand, there was a promise that they would perform in Poland, on the other hand, some stigma against Poland was there.
