Metallica is turning 40! Thank you for 7 years of great music🤘

They put on some great concerts though. Only band I've ever seen come out under full house lights & just start playing. Also, saving the pyro for the encore.

Holy cow ! A whole lot of bands I enjoyed in the 80s have hit the 40 mark. (feelin’ ancienne 😓)

Not because of the subject matter, no, it just sounds awful.

The birth and death of the universe is just a blink in the eye of this 40! year old band.

they're at least 42+ years given kill 'em all came out in 1983 and had demo material released prior, but yeah...~7yrs of them being notable by any count.
