I'm 76 and a music lover. it's impossible to consider what song might be my favorite. I've had at least 25-30 favorites over that time period. Right now I couldn't even consider any one as my favorite. I know all the lyrics to a lot of them.
@MoveAlong

How about a different question? Which is your overall favorite type or genre of songs that you like?

I'm 76 as well - King Charles is 9 days older than me.

@rinkydinkydoink Prog Rock was my favorite but not exclusive. I like jazz, folk, rockabilly, some country but not too much heavy metal. Unfortunately I've about lost my hearing and must wear aids. Music will never be the same to me. Everything sounds harsh or tinny. I guess I'm paying for all the loud concerts I used to attend.

Yes.

Playing it now with captions on - 1st time hearing this.

A few of them. I know more words to my favorite poems then I do to my favorite songs.
@Lostpoet

!! - - I know some of the words to just one poem: She Walks in Beauty

This line in particular (the way it rolls off the tongue) - "Which heaven to gaudy day denies". If there is such a term as interior alliteration then that term fits that line.

@rinkydinkydoink I like that poem too
I don't mind the sun sometimes the images it shows. I can taste you on my lips and smell you in my clothes. Cinnamon and sugary and softly spoken lies, you never know just how to look through other peoples eyes.

Some dance to remember, some dance to for...get.

At first I thought these lyrics were from Rough Trade's "High School Confidential" and I was going to ask you if you knew who Dagmar was.
