@PatientlyWaiting25 I holidayed in Singapore decades ago.
Went to a disco with my friend.
When we got there, everyone was standing around the edge of a very large dance floor.
We watched for quite a while and it seemed obvious the crowd was waiting for someone to "be the first ones onto the floor"
Stuff it, we said and went to the middle of the floor and started "Strutting our stuff" 🕺🕺
Only then did the "wanna bees" get on the floor. 🤭
