BBC Radio 3 (classical music) and Radio 4 (speech) are pretty much the only radio stations I listen to in 'real time'. Otherwise I dip into my collection (33/45/78rpm, cassettes and CDs) and listen to them. I've been around long enough to have music in a number of different formats. I sometimes make playlists and the end up on a USB 'key' which will play in an awful lot of places.
(Currently playing: 'Hot Love' by T. Rex 馃檪)
Almost forgot: Occasionally I ask my recently-acquired 'smart' speaker. It successfully identifies some things I ask it to play, but confused Teddy Stauffer (Swiss bandleader, from the Thirties) with Jo Stafford (American singer, from a bit later). Can't win 'em all!

Well, I'm of an age where once, as a child, you would make a playlist using the record button on a cassette deck while the radio played your favourite songs. Nowadays, often I'm stuck in an algorithm Youtube has developed where they think they know what I want to listen to (a lot like the radio, other than it's more repetitive)..... When I really want an artist I make sure to find a way to listen to just them..... (I'm moody about music 馃構)
