@Poppies yeah, I feel like you need to know some music history to appreciate him fully. probably not a lot of newcomers to his shows.

@Neuman I like him better now than when he was young. Yes, his audiences are full of repeaters. I have been to only 3 of his concerts in the last couple of years. Some have been to hundreds! And the material stays pretty much the same.

@GerOttman That's one I have missed. I'll have to check it out. When I was about 5, I had a dog, Buster, who got into the hen house and sucked eggs. My father took it out and shot it. Said once they tasted raw egg, they would keep going back.

@GerOttman Yep. I listened to it. The only difference was, my father didn't give Buster a second chance. My father wasn't much of a touchy feely kind of guy, but the one other thing I remember was how he sat me down, acknowledged Buster was not around because he had shot and killed him, explained why he felt he had to do it and commiserated with me over my loss. So far out of character for him that it was emblazoned in the memory of a 5 year old.
