When I was around 14, thankfully my parents listened to good music

Starting around 2015 and then finally falling off in 2020. I have no idea who anyone is save Taylor Swift and I don't really care to know.

There don't seem to be any contemporary ROCK bands, its all hip hop and pop music now.
@SumKindaMunster

Taylor who? Kidding - I've heard of her (who hasn't) but I've never heard her sing a note.
I go back to before you were born - when the Beatles released "A Day in the Life" I was gobsmacked... what in Hell was that racket??
Elessar · 26-30, M
@rinkydinkydoink I heard her the first time while I was driving, at first didn't even know it was her (she isn't as big here I guess), then the radio host says "Taylor Swift"..

The current stuff that’s called "popular" sure, but if you have a wider taste to challenge the ears, there is lots out experience. Take the path less traveled. Looking is half the fun.

Notice not even cover bands touch todays music.

Wonder why. 🧐
