I wouldn't go as far as to call myself a "fan," but a music lover in general.
And being such, this is something I can not dismiss.
My Father, on the other hand, has been a longtime Beatles fan ever since he saw them ever since he saw them perform on the Ed Sullivan Show back in 1964.
He even at one point, had in his possession, a box-set of all their albums.
He also had VHS copy of the 1982 Documentary, The Compleat Beatles which he videotaped off of television when it aired on PBS in the Summer of 1989, which now resides in my personal VHS collection.
I first discovered that videotape in the Summer of 1999 and watched it out of curiosity.
It was shortly thereafter, that I binge-listened to each record back-to-back and for a while was kinda hooked, with my favorite albums being Sgt. Pepper, The "White Album" and Abbey Road.
In the mid-2010's I was shopping at a thrift store when I chanced upon VHS copies of A Hard Day's Night and Help!.
I then decided then-and-there, that they would make a fine edition to my VHS collection.
And being such, this is something I can not dismiss.
