@DavidT8899 See, I'm not sure I agree. Brian couldn't do a Plastic Ono Band, nor do I think he could have done Hey Jude or Let It Be or Yesterday. Brian was the best Beach Boys creative element. Pretty amazing these guys were all around simultaneously.

@uncalled4 Pretty amazing that Michelangelo and Leonardo Da Vinci knew each other .Sometimes talent like that comes in bunches,like it was the world's time to experience it .

@uncalled4 Actually , Brian pretty much WAS the creative element of the Beach Boys - at least as far as the music went .It's true they he relied on outside help for writing the lyrics .

Too modern... lol. The first time I heard The Beatles' "A Day in the Life", that was pretty much it for me.
