The Shins… they’ve been a favorite of mine for a really long time. Lately I’ve been re-listening to the Chutes Too Narrow album..

I dont know if It’s just this phase of my life or what- but that album has been hitting me differently this time. There are some really quick and fun dancy songs on there which I love, but the whole album, including those, all seem “sad in an almost painful-like way” or “repentful way” this time listening to it. There’s more of a sting to it, listening to it again for me…. Any fans out there have an opinion on the Chutes Too Narrow album?
