ALL great romantic love songs from the 1980's-of the aforementioned singers/songwriters-Billy Joel is my all time favorite. I had the memorable pleasure of seeing him LIVE in concert FOUR times-TWICE in Houston, Texas (September, 1982; April, 1987); and TWICE in Oakland, California (January, 1990; December, 1993).

I voted Swing Out Sister. Kind of a unique song and underrated. I would have voted Uptown Girl 2nd. Endless Love? 🤢

I may be wrong, but that Lisa Stansfiled song I think is 90s (??)
JonUK41 · 36-40, M
@luckranger71 All around the world was 1989, so yes it was 80s.
KarenisKenziesmum · 51-55, F
@luckranger71 You ARE wrong, the Lisa Stansfield song was 1989. It was in the charts when I had my first daughter. Still, I'm giving you the Best Comment for voting for Swing Out Sister. I bought "Breakout" when I was 14 and I still love it now.

None are favorites, but I'll take Billy Joel's.
KarenisKenziesmum · 51-55, F
@exexec Funnily enough, everyone has chosen that one so far. I like the other three a lot better and I personally would choose Swing Out Sister.
chrisCA · M
@exexec That was my choice.
Nothing right in my wheel house but a couple decent ones
