Meg and Jack White known as The White Stripes

Jack met Meg in a club in Detroit. And started jamming together shortly after they married in June of 96 where Jake took Megs last name. Then started to work on a album around late 96 and put out their first album in 99. In followed by another 1 year later. In 2001 they divorced but kept playing. That same year the 3rd album White Blood Cells dropped and became their breakthrough album that went platinum. They would put out 3 more albums before the break up. Not to bad for a two person band that started as a novelty act never expecting one or two albums before people lost interests. Not only that but now they have made it into the rock and roll Hall of Fame this year and will be inducted in December. The first song I heard from them was Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground. Loved that song so I dug deeper and the more I did the more I liked. So I'm going to play some of my favorites this one being my very favorite. The guitar playing is what took me in first then the lyrics. Absolutely beautiful song. I'll play my second favorite a bit later.
