It may seem a bit different now, but there are still a lot of great prog bands out there. I loved the 70's bands, and I am now listening to IQ, Pendragon, Transatlantic, Flower Kings, Steve Hackett, Porcupine Tree, Marillion, Ayreon, and many others. Prog is still alive and well.

@ReneeT Thanks!

Of course it does. I mean, it's not really mainstream anymore, but there's still plenty of progressive rock bands to be found today. Spock's Beard, The Pineapple Thief, Karnivool, Elephant9, Riverside, etc. The Mars Volta is my personal favorite, even though they don't play progressive rock anymore. But if you like wild and eccentric prog rock like King Crimson, you'll love TMV.

@Longpatrol Porcupine Tree, Umphrey's McGee and The Flower Kings are good too.

They're all in their late 70s or 80s now.
