🎧🎵🎵🎵🎵 Wish i was there....

I was born a little too late. I would give anything to have been at Woodstock in 69' seeing Janis Joplin, Joe Cocker, Sly and The Family Stone and so many other greats. They don't make music like that anymore. How could you not love this?

I was 15. Wasn't at Woodstock but a dozen of the bands that played there played at Laurel Race Track a mile from my house the following summer. You are so correct about the music and I was at right age to witness and feel a part of all of it.
It really was musically the greatest and most unique era.

@AngelUnforgiven I went one night to the race track. It's always a memory dig because I remember Zeppelin The Who and Chicago play along with 3 others I don't remember the 1st night. The following night I went and saw The Guess Who, who in my opinion were the best band ever at playing their own music live, I heard zeppelin sucked the night before.

@Gibbon wow that is so awesome! I wish that they would bring it back and have people do cover songs in remembrance of all the singers who were there whose passed on. A memorial concert.

@AngelUnforgiven Some of us referred to him as the spazz because of his awkward motions. But I learned to respect him because the album Mad Dogs and Englishmen. If you're curious and don't know read about how fast that was put together and his involvement making it happen. I don't think any project compares time wise.

@Gibbon wow thanks I'm going to do that. I always thought he was just high on something most singers were back then ive seen videos of him and you could tell he was floating on cloud 9 lol

@AngelUnforgiven Lol yes he had that appearance. He did quite a bit producing behind the scenes.
