All I have to say is...

You kids missed a good time.

It was wild back in the 60's, 70's, and 80's. I myself was born in the early 1970's but old enough to go out and experience the 80's.

The culture and music of today is sooooo boring.

Maybe you’re just doing it wrong. Go to a Prodigy or Slipknot concert then tell how it’s all the same.

@Morvoren Prodigy and Slipknot are from the 90's and early 2000's...technically 20-30 years ago....

@Morvoren Oh my argument is not that they aren't still touring and recording, rather their time of relevance was 20-30 years ago...I just find that a strange rebut for another user saying the best time for culture was the 60's, 70's and 80's...I would have expected artists that are current right now that you think compare to the 60's-80's...

@SumKindaMunster So you think they are only relevant when they release their debut albums? Well that’s fanciful.

Bear in mind how the generation who came before you also looked down their noses at your music. It’s what people do when they are phasing out, they try to cheapen it for whoever comes next.

@Morvoren Way to miss the point and take offense from your mistake.

I'm not bashing your favorite bands.

I still listen to the bands of my youth...they still make albums and tour..but I wouldn't make the argument that they represent the music of today and hold them up as examples of relevant bands in the 2020's.
