Country Music at it's finest

From a Jack to a King - Ned Miller 1957

I woke with this song in my head.
This is from the era when country singers didn't have to try to sound country.
They just opened up their mouths , sang and that was all the country you needed.

I sang "From a Jack to a King" for years.

@hunkalove In a band? On a stage?
That would have been fun.

@smiler2012 I too dislike modern country music.
It all sounds the same.
Now that might be a generalisation, but to me it does sound the same. Same guitar tune, almost the same lyrics.
I avoid modern country at all costs.
Which is why I only enjoy country music pre 1980's
