Okay playlist thoughts (carefully avoiding my own song):

- I did not like like half of this lmao you all need to do a better job of being depressed.

- Carissa's Wierd and Sufjan Stevens had the best sad songs. The Carissa's Wierd song is the bleakest song about suicide I've ever heard and Sufjan can write a TUNE, man.

- Me and a gun by Tori is harrowing and definitely gets points.

- The Catch 22 song was baffling why would you write an upbeat 2-tone song about your dying mother. If I got out my trombone and started skanking to my dead dad my family would have me shot.

- Gogol Bordello is a favourite band of mine. Apparently this tune was on the soundtrack to a movie about suicide which makes it a worthy inclusion but the song didn't make me sad.

@CountScrofula I put in my comment about Catch 22 that I have a soft spot for upbeat sounding songs with bleak lyrics.
I’ve loved Gogol Bordello since I’d heard Wonderlust King a thousand years ago.
