I'm an 80s baby so music from the 90's is such a vibe for me

I love the hip hop from the early 90s, house music & techno from the mid 90s, and electronic music from the late 90s

If you dig this stuff I would love to hear any recommendations and I can recommend stuff too <3

I also love music from the 60s, 70s & 80s. I rarely listen to anything new

@GoToTheCompound rap from 90s had Tupac and biggie! And my fav rapper started in 96 DMX. I’m also huge foo fighters and nirvana fan! But 2000s rap wasn’t bad and rock too. But after 2010 I don’t like very much music.
@SW-User Yeah the big name rappers were still good in the early 2000s, DMXs first 2 albums were amazing. DMX's 2nd album was incredible. I loved Swizz Beatz, he was on fire back then, the beat for DMX - The Omen was my favorite beat he ever made. Male rappers collabing with female r&b singers was really good in the early to mid 2000s too, even male rappers collabing with male r&b singers was pretty good, the Jay-Z & R Kelly type thing. I still like that Tyrese & Chingy song Pullin' Me Back, that was my jam when it came out

@GoToTheCompound can’t forget Nelly! He brought a nice mix of “New Yorks” beat to southern rap. I loved nappy roots too! OutKast will always be my fav though

I was born in 1986. And as a 90's kid and 2000's teen, I wasn't fully into the then mainstream music of the time. (with a few exceptions) For the most part, I was into Baroque, Classical, Romanticism and Nationalism. (Bach, Haydan, Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, and Strauss to name a few) And as time went by, I got into 20's-40's Jazz, 50's-80's Rock, 90's House/Techno/Electronica and to a partial extent, early/mid 2000's Techno. Nowadays, I'm into 70's-80's Japanese pop music. (nowadays known as City Pop)

@BlueGreenGrey Yes this is what I'm talking about! All of these songs are really good, I haven't heard most of them so thank you!

I never heard Opus III - It's A Fine Day, I've listened to the ATB remix of Miss Jane - It's A Fine Day a million times but I didn't know they sampled this Opus song

As for the Sneaker Pimps.. the Armand's Dark Garage Mix of Spin Spin Sugar is seriously one of my favorite songs of ALL TIME. It still get goosebumps when the beat drops, just incredible.
@GoToTheCompound I go back and forth between the album version and Armand's Dark Garage Mix

The Opus III track was also later sampled in this great Orbital track (and Kirsty Hawkshaw, who sang the original, appears in this video as well )

one of the better songs by Yes in the 80s was also sampled in the Orbital track

edit:
didn't realize you were an anti-vaxxer and creationist 🙄
@GoToTheCompound one more, more ambient, by The Orb (the second half of the song is percussive in a very nice way so stick around or skip ahead)
