I envy people hearing Sinead for the first time

I'm sad about her passing.....but. She wasn't a real fave of mine. Prince's death hit me close to home. He was a huge inspiration to me musically and what he stood for. Most media outlets failed to mention that Prince wrote her hit " Nothing Compares 2 U. "

It seems like every month I hear of a band member of my old favorite bands has died. The good ole rock bands from my days growing up are so old now...these people are in their 70's now and in poor health from living that rough lifestyle.
It's sad to hear that another one passed away......it's just too often now

Back when Michael Jackson died, there was this one chance to participate in his memorial ceremony, which I missed out on though. I hated how the others talked about it later on.
