I envy people hearing Sinead for the first time

So many of my favorite artists are either long or recently gone, but I think this troubled woman being gone hits me close to home.

I'm sad about her passing.....but. She wasn't a real fave of mine. Prince's death hit me close to home. He was a huge inspiration to me musically and what he stood for. Most media outlets failed to mention that Prince wrote her hit " Nothing Compares 2 U. "

@SW-User i think prince was a peer to mozart and beethoven, as time will tell. They all needed voices to sing their songs.

@Flowchart I can understand what you're saying.....but, we each like what we like. I kinda refer to Sinead as a modern times Joan of Arc so to speak. She bucked the system just as Prince did.....
