I only like Country music up to the mid 70s. Though some country singers still wrote/sang great songs in the 80s.
Glen Campbell, Johnny Cash, Barbara Mandrel, Don Williams, Waylon Jennings, Tanya Tucker.

I dislike most contemporary country.

Old jazz

From that list, rock. And yet, a lot of proper country is pretty cozy, not the radio "stadium country" that wins awards.

A mid 20th century composer said there is only two types of music. Good and bad. So I’ll pick good.
