do you miss your youth as far as your musical era is concerned?

i really miss the 80s. i was born in early 70s but was too young to go to any concert (although i did want to see kiss in 1977 but mom said no) i would have loved to have gone to woodstalk in '69. for now i'll cherrish the 80s. just wondering if you millenials or gen z's would have like to been part of the 80s scene?

I don't miss that aspect of my youth (that would be the 90s in my case) in any way. I don't see the 1990s as a creative period when it's about music. It was all just warmed-up turkey, badly recycled stuff from earlier periods. Regarding popular music, I think there was a burst of creativity between the mid 40s (birth of bebop) and the mid 70s (progressive rock and blues, jazz rock fusion). 😐

@helenS I would disagree in the sense that there were many talented groups/artists that either came out in that period or came to a creative peak during that time.
