Concert ticket prices…
Thought I’d treat myself to Bruce Springsteen concert tickets for the upcoming show in April til I saw the price for 2 tickets. Almost $2k for upper mezzanine 😞. Everything is becoming so unattainable.

Hasn't this been attributed to a reversal of fortune? It used to be, musicians did concerts to promote album sales. But digitization has killed music sales and all the artists have left is concerts, as far as making money. Your local music store probably closed years ago.

Bingo! This is exactly what happened. Several famous musicians have complained about this and how it has affected their ability to not only create music, but also to pay for the logistical costs of touring. Some artists have even sold their rights to their music resulting from decreased sales due to streaming.
